WHY WE GO
The need doesn't stop at our doorstep.
All over the country, shelters and rescues are hitting the same wall: too many animals, too little funding, and staff stretched well past their limits. Some are a few states away; some are as far as Puerto Rico. When they're underwater, they need more than good wishes — they need boots on the ground.
We can't take in every animal. But we can show up. When a shelter reaches out for help, our team loads up supplies and travels to wherever the need is — to restock their shelves, clean their kennels, care for their animals, and give their worn-out staff a real hand. And when a natural disaster is bearing down — a hurricane, a flood — we go for that too, helping shelters brace before the storm and dig out after it.
WHY WE GO IN PERSON
Anyone can send a check. We send people. Supplies matter, but so do extra hands on a hard day, and the reminder to a stretched-thin rescue that they aren't in this alone.
WHAT HAPPENS ON A TRIP
Load up, show up, get to work.

We load up
Before every trip we gather supplies — dog and cat food, leashes and collars, linens, litter, cleaning supplies, and enrichment toys — much of it donated by our community.
We travel
The team heads out to wherever the need is — a shelter a few states away, or as far as Puerto Rico — supplies in tow.
We get to work
Kennel cleaning, dog care, and hands-on support so exhausted staff can finally catch their breath.
We bring the
mission home.
Where we can, dogs make the trip back home with us to New England to find their forever homes.
Where we go
Wherever we're needed, we'll be there.
No borders
Anywhere the need is
We don't limit this to one place. If a shelter or rescue is overwhelmed and asks for help, we'll go — a few states over or all the way to Puerto Rico. We step up wherever, and whenever, we can.
For shelters & rescues
Reach out for backup
If your shelter or rescue is underwater and could use supplies and extra hands, tell us. No partnership required — just a need we can help meet.
When disaster strikes
Before and after the storm
When a hurricane, flood, or other disaster is headed for a community, shelters scramble to protect the animals in their care. If you know one is coming and you'll need extra hands (or you're digging out after it) call on us. We answer the call when it matters most.

The Reach of It
Ten trips, nine states, and counting.
This isn't a one-time gesture. It's a standing commitment to step up wherever we can. So far we've made at least 10 trips, showing up for shelters in North Carolina (twice), South Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, and Puerto Rico.
10+
TRIPS AND COUNTING. WHEREVER THE NEED IS GREATEST.
On the Ground
This is what showing up looks like.
How You Can Help
Every trip starts with a full van and a ready team.
