Live Free Animal Rescue was founded in 2020 by

Chantel Giurado, whose love for animals turned a lifelong dream into a real rescue operation. What started with passion has grown into a community of dedicated volunteers committed to giving dogs a second chance.

 

We're a nonprofit, volunteer-run, all-breed dog rescue based in New Hampshire.

Our focus is dogs who need us most — abandoned, neglected, and traumatized animals from across the United States, with a particular emphasis on high-risk dogs and puppies. We also open our doors to local owner surrenders right here in New Hampshire. Every dog that comes through LFAR is fully vetted before finding their forever home.

We don't disappear after adoption day. We're here for our adopters throughout their dog's life, whether that means guidance, resources, or just celebrating the latest adorable photo.
