Founded in 2020 by Chantel Giurado, an animal lover and activist from a young age. Chantel has made her dream of opening a dog rescue a reality and we wouldn't be who we are without her passion & dedication. 

 

Live Free Animal Rescue is a non-profit, all breed dog rescue. We are a volunteer based organization based out of New Hampshire.

LFAR rescues abandoned, neglected and traumatized dogs from southern states and our focus is high-risk dogs and puppies. Local owner surrenders here in New Hampshire are also a passion of ours. Every dog that comes to LFAR will be fully vetted before finding their furever home.

We take pride in being there for our adopters throughout their pups life, whether its providing support, resources or just being here to admire adorable pictures! We are committed to LFAR dogs for life.
